Lanarkshire Ice Rink

RULES

1. Each game shall be ten ends or the bell.

2. R.C.C.C. rules apply including FREE GUARD ZONE (except as modified below including time penalty)
    1 shot for each 5 minutes late
    15 minutes late - 7 ends will be played
    25 minutes late - 6 ends will be played

    When game is not played because of non-arrival, non-offender will be awarded 2 points and 6 shots.

3. Rinks must be composed of members of the entered Club.

4. No player shall represent more than one rink in the competition.

5. Substitutes - any number of substitutes may be used.

6. Where time penalty clause is involved, penalty shots must be put up by offending team.

7. All names must be entered on score cards.  Failure to comply may lead to loss of points and shots.

8. Rinks failing to appear will be liable for total ice fees.

9. When problems arise over league fixtures, in the first instance the substitute rule should be applied.  In the event of there being no alternative but to cancel a game, three dates will be given and MUST BE CONFIRMED WITHIN SEVEN DAYS ON CANCELLATION.Failure to agree on a suitable date will result in the opposition being  awarded a walk-over and ice fees being charged to cancelling rink.

10. If any of the above rules are contravened, offending rink shall forfeit the points and opposition awarded six shots.

11. In the event of a dispute, decision of the Management shall be final.                                            


COST £6.50 PER PERSON PER GAME
